šŸ˜‘Indecision.

In the ring🄊, always keep your feet moving.

This time I would like to share something that’s been eating me up for weeks now.

Indecision.

You know when you have so much on your plate that you don’t know where to start or what to do? Or even if you start doing one of the myriads of things you need to do, there’s always something at the back of your mind that does not give you peace?

Indecision is the inability to make a decision quickly, or at all for that matter.

Most times, when one is indecisive, they spend way too much time ā€˜planning’ in their mind and they end up wasting hours if not days on one decision that could have been made once and action taken. This ends up with no action taken nor a decision made: double loss.

One thing you’d notice from elite kickboxers is that their feet never stop moving. The legend Mike Tyson used to practice his feet movement ALONE for hours just to make sure he was never stationary in the ring; and that he was as swift as possible. You will often see kickboxers jumping rope; this is to train their feet to be ever agile. EVER! Stay stationary and your opponent will have a platter to lay jabs on you, knocking you out eventually.

ALWAYS keep your feet moving - always be up and down the ring. That’s how you not only reduce the chances of you getting hit, but also when you move out of the way of your opponent, you get a vantage point to lay a better blow on him before he recovers his position. Watch any boxing movie, you’ll get what I’m talking about - Rocky, Creed..you name it, you’ll see.

Anyway, why all these boxing and feet movement stuff?

Mobility.

If there’s anything I’ve learnt in the few couple of weeks past is that do not stay stationary. Keep your feet moving, keep the momentum going. If you’re ever indecisive about anything, make sure you are moving as you think on what best action to take.

One common mistake I did is lie on the couch and say ā€˜let me lie here and think on the many stuff I want to do.’ Ended up not doing any of them, or if I do any of the tasks, there isn’t enough time to fully accomplish them.

And indecision can be so annoying and irritatingšŸ˜‘; you feel like you want to do a lot of stuff but you can’t because you still ā€˜thinking’ on what’s the best action to take.

I’d say, take any decision but be fully willing to accept the consequences. Better fail than end up having done nothing at all!

Anyway, indecision has chewed me up these past days on a lot of things. But I am glad I made the decision on what to write for this weekendšŸ˜….

😃You might have missed my most popular writingsšŸ˜(so far..)

  1. When the Grass is greener on the other side. - Peer pressure has affected us all in one way or the other. Some call it fancy names like mid-life crisis or what not. Check my highlights of a book I just read about this so-called Peer Pressure.

  2. The Gospel according to Bobby GlassšŸ˜Ž - Featuring the drug empire of John 'The Gospel' Dixon. This is one of my favorite so faršŸ˜‚. You cannot beat a drug Lord who is backed up by 'god'. it just can't be done. Especially when he is a lunatic too, with good literary prowess and a clueless assistant. But this I wrote coz I honestly don't get how the drug empire makes its stupid amounts of money. Do you?

  3. How does Lamborghini advertise its cars?šŸŽšŸš— - When was the last time you saw a Rolls-Royce ad on the internet..leave alone TV?

PS: If you have a few seconds to spare, please hit the <reply> button and let me know what you thought of this email. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it and what could be improved. It also reminds me that there’s another person reading it on the other end of my screenšŸ˜…. Thanks.

Have a wonderful week ahead!
