Everybody's writing poems nowadays🙄.
A poem by a skeptic sly.
A lot of people are writing poems nowadays.

another day..another new “poet” is born..
Should I write one myself?
I’m not much of a rhyme master; I always consider many rhymes as forced, just so as to get the poem flowing or to give it musicality. Which is cool, but when forced? Naah.
Let me try anyways. I’m not one to shrink from an honest challenge.

me trying to be a “worthy” poet..
Here goes nothing:
In this age of poetic proliferation,
With rhymes in endless formation,
Every body thinks they’re a bard,
Penning stanzas, and thinking hard.
My mama mboga (greengrocer) now writes about her greens and peas,
The butcher hums of sausages and steaks with ease,
Pork and mutton, with a little cheese.
Even the plumber’s crafting a verse to please!
Each verse they claim as pure creation,
But it’s more like word inflation.
If everyone’s a poet true,
Then where’s the art, what’s left to do?
Yet here I sit, a skeptic sly,
Thinking, "Why not give it a try?"
So I’ll craft this poem, in the end,
And join the herd I mock, my friend!
I don’t think I’m cut out for this poem thing😂. Tell me what you thought in the <reply>.

😃You might have missed my most popular writings😍(so far..)
Another fatherless child!🙁 - in honour of all our fathers, but most importantly the neglected fatherless child and the rather subtle effects of a fatherless childhood.
When the grass is greener on the other side. - It probably hits all of us that the fact is, another grass can be and is greener than ours. Admiring the grass is not wrong, only that taking too long admiring the other might be the problem.
Have a wonderful week ahead!
